1954 Mid-century Modern complete restoration.
The property had not been updated in 30 years, and there was extensive water damage from the roof all the way down to the terrazzo floors. The renovation brought the structure down to the studs, leaving only the structurally sound concrete exterior walls, and terrazzo floors. Everything from the roof, to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, walls, bathrooms, kitchen, appliances was updated. The terrazzo floors were meticulously restored. Careful consideration to the original design and period of the home was used in every step of the design process as well as incorporating maximum energy efficiency.
The last project on the house was the detached pool house. This was a really fun project as you can see from the timelapse video:
